I live in deepest Northamptonshire with my partner George (the subject, indeed, of Looking for George, my first book) and our two dogs – Poppy, the perfectly-behaved Springer Spaniel, and Winston, the rather less well-behaved Border Terrier.

I am a freelance journalist and have written about everything, from diving off the Great Barrier Reef to the death of Deirdre Barlow in Coronation Street.

Belinda Archer - author and writer

My articles have appeared in all the nationals including the Daily Mail, the Financial TimesThe Times and The Guardian, as well as glossies such as Harper’s Bazaar and Tatler.

For the past two years I’ve also been writing novels: Looking for George, a memoir of my rather colourful love life, and Mixed Doubles, a bouncy rom-com set in a quintessentially English country tennis club.

When not writing I run a boutique B&B (have a look here) and sell luxury chalet holidays (an extension of my experience as a travel journalist) via my company The White Chalet Collection.

I also play as much tennis as I can manage and read lots of books.

I’d love to hear from you.
